Driving

Last Fall, B's boss gave Quentin a truck that belonged to his grandson and his grandson had outgrown it.  Quentin is pretty timid.  So when he got the truck, he didn't want to drive it.  It was too noisy, he only liked to sit in it and clean it.

When we moved to the new house, out of nowhere, he decided he wanted to start driving his truck.  He hopped in and got the hang of it right away.  He steers really well and now he can even maneuver in reverse.  He loves driving all around the neighborhood and when he's finished, he even drives right in to the garage to his parking spot.

Photo Shoot

Quentin really likes taking pictures, and he's pretty good at it, so we got him a camera for Christmas.  Here he's got a photo shoot going on with some of his toys as his subject.  We don't know where he got the idea to do the close ups of the grill.

I'm rrrouchy!!

Quentin now loves to say that he's "RRRRRROUCHY!!!".  He usually says "cheesy cheese" when we're taking pictures of him, but now he also likes to do his "serious face".  And when he's taking pictures, he'll let you know to either say "cheese" or make a serious face.  Here he is making his serious face for the camera......

Quentin loves The Backyardigans.  We have almost every episode on the DVR for him and he watches them everyday.  He knows most of the songs, including the theme song.  I finally got him to sing it for the camera.  I shot it portrait and didn't realize it would come out sideways, but since I finally caught it on video, I had to put on the blog.

The New House

We recently bought our first condo and I wanted to update my parents on our progress.  My brother and his family helped us so much.  B and his friend, Bill, did the flooring.  I painted the trees in Quentin's room.  My niece, nephews and sister in law painted.  And my brother helped with a whole lot of everything, choosing the paint scheme, re-doing the kitchen cabinets and framing the windows.  We still have some work to do, but I wanted to share the before and after pictures that we have so far.
